Project Scope

From the initial meeting, the client clearly specified their primary requirements. These involved- UI/UX Design, Brand Strategy, and No Code Development.

They required a complete do-over or redesign of their web apps, as these were missing the key essential aspects- user-friendliness, clean and organized design, and improving broken functionalities and other backend issues throughout the site.

We provided the client with modernistic professional UI/UX design, an efficient UX strategy, and improved no-code development solutions. Our goal was to deliver these solutions so as to make the web apps simpler and easier to use with multiple clear CTAs regarding signing up or requesting a demo.

Outcomes

We delivered a sitemap, style guides, and a brand-new UX and UI design. Our team remained consistent with punctual deliveries and continuously updated on client feedback. This enabled us to complete the project in a 3-month timeline.

The final outputs impressed the client, and since they were kept updated throughout each phase of the project, we received minimal feedback regarding any issues.

Styleguides

Following our in-depth discovery session with the Excelfore team, we conclusively developed three distinct style guides - Mild, Medium, and Spicy.

Our inclination was towards a complete vector approach, considering its popularity among customers. However, the client preferred a combination of vector and raster styles.

A clear rationale drove this decision: the client’s customer base spans diverse demographics, and they strongly prefer credible and advanced automotive software services. These insights played a crucial role in guiding our design strategy.

In your final design attributes, these key elements were selected:

Blue to convey authenticity.
Orange to create vibrant calls to action.
Raster graphics to establish an emotional connection.
Vector graphics for a modern appearance.
The use of Sans Serif fonts to maintain professionalism.
A consistent theme of simplicity across the design.

Ux Design

Based on the sitemap approved by the client, the UX for 14 pages was created and developed, focusing on the AIDA concept in the copy to ensure rapid accessibility. As part of the strategy, we created mega menus to allow users swift and effortless navigation. This feature enabled direct access to desired options and settings, solutions, company information, and calls to action, all in one place, eliminating any confusion or loss of direction.

Another vital element was the incorporation of multiple CTAs throughout the site. These were supported by compelling elements like statistics, testimonials, and information about partners and clients, all aimed at enhancing conversion rates.

Additionally, a subtle yet effective touch was added to the UX: a marketing pop-up designed to gather leads. This pop-up was crafted to be unobtrusive and not disrupt the user’s focus, yet persuasive enough to encourage the sharing of email addresses, completing the UX design.

UI Design

During the next design phase, we created high-fidelity designs with interactive prototypes for the web apps. After discussing with the client, we decided to adopt a mobile-first approach, integrating mid-fidelity screens with the previously approved style guide, all within a well-structured design system.

This phase presented its own set of challenges, especially when combining vector and raster elements. However, our design team skillfully overcame these obstacles, finding a balance that led to the creation of an outstanding UI design. Once again, embracing simplicity proved to be the key, resulting in user-friendly and easy-to-navigate applications.

Tools and Technology

The client was extremely pleased with the final results. We then developed the web applications, setting a completion timeline of three weeks before deployment.
