Queryloom is an interactive platform that enables users to post, discover, and engage with polls and questions. Aimed at sparking insightful conversations and gathering opinions, Queryloom combines simplicity with data-driven interaction to deliver a powerful social and research tool.

Project Scope

Queryloom approached us with a clear objective — to design the UI for both their web and mobile apps. The client had already finalized their feature set and user experience flows internally, but required professional UI design to bring their product to life with high visual standards and consistency.

Our responsibilities included:

  • Designing a scalable and appealing UI for web and mobile apps
  • Building a component-based design system
  • Ensuring aesthetic consistency across platforms
  • Collaborating closely with the in-house UX and product teams

Goals

  • Create a modern, intuitive, and engaging UI
  • Support fast, frictionless user interactions with polls and groups
  • Design for scalability – enabling future features without disrupting the experience
  • Establish a design system that can grow with the product

Challenges

  • Designing for dual use cases: lightweight social interactions vs. deep, data-driven insights
  • Harmonizing visual consistency across mobile-first layouts and desktop responsiveness
  • Balancing vibrant visual identity with accessibility and minimalism
  • Syncing design delivery with client-side development cycles

Outcomes

We successfully delivered:

  • A comprehensive design system, including type scales, colors, spacing, iconography, and UI components

  • High-fidelity screen designs for key user journeys on both mobile and desktop

  • Modular designs that allowed quick expansion into new topics, groups, and poll types

  • A responsive UI with uniform interactions across device types

The final outputs were met with high praise from the client’s internal team. The seamless communication throughout the design cycle enabled rapid iterations, allowing the product team to transition smoothly into development.

UI Design

With UX finalized by the client, our focus was solely on UI Design. Here’s what we delivered:

  • Mobile UI: Built around a clean card-based structure, optimized for quick scrolls, tap interactions, and story-style content previews
  • Web UI: Adaptive layouts using grids, filters, and categories to showcase groups and polls with clarity

  • Onboarding, Explore, Group Join, and Poll Creation Flows: Designed with simplicity and user delight in mind

  • Design System: Modular and reusable components structured in Figma for development handoff
