Car Freight is one of the oldest vehicle shipping service providers in the United States as well as the first in Puerto Rico. They ship all kinds of vehicles within the USA as well as to US islands.
They are in the market for more than 25 years and have shipped more the 25K vehicles across the United States.
They also offer other services like a car wash, documentation, etc.
Looking at our process and our creative skills, our client Jacqueline, general manager of Car Freight approached us for redesigning their 25 year old website.
The goal was to build a robust website and give it a fresh and modern look. Apart from the corporate site, we were also hired for landing page portal design and development services.

The final deliverables included a sitemap, style guides, UX design, and UI design.
With on-time deliveries & continuous client feedback, we were able to complete this project in 8 weeks timeline with development & deployment.
The output was loved by the client and their users. The conversion rates boosted for their Google Ads by 300%.
Finally, we got a green signal for the corporate site to go live too.
Based on our discovery session with Car Freight, we managed to come up with three different style guides.
The choice was a mixed approach i.e. a combination of raster and vector graphics.
The selected moodboard had the following attributes:
1. Pink as the primary accent color
2. Vector graphics for process and services
3. Raster images for trust & realistic approach
4. Dual-color filled creative icons
5. Gradient effect overlay on images
6. Round curved for friendly design
Based on the approved sitemap, we were supposed to build the UX for 32 pages with no action being more than 3 clicks away.
The goal was to make everything accessible quickly.
So, we planned to build a mega menu that enables users to access services, add-ons, and company-related information, as well as CTAs in one, go without any chance of getting lost.
Another important aspect was multiple CTA’s spread across the site with proofs like numbers, testimonials, partners, clients, etc. to increase the conversion rates.
Another small addition to the UX was a marketing pop-up to collect leads, but without disturbing user focus yet convincing enough to get the mail ids.
Lastly, in the design phase, we were supposed to build high-fidelity designs with interactive prototypes for both desktop & mobile devices.
As per clear request, we went ahead with the mobile-first approach. The UX or mid-fidelity screens were combined with the approved style guide with a proper design system in place.
We faced multiple challenges with combining the vectors & raster but somehow our designers found the sweet spot and made it work.
Again, the best was simplicity in design that made the entire website easy to use & understand.
The outcome was loved by the client. The development was done on WordPress CMS with a timeline of 4 weeks followed by deployment.
