The Research Gate located in the USA is one of our first clients. They specialize in organizing healthcare-related conferences within and outside the USA.

Initially, they started with the offline conferences but with the rise of Covid, they also started organizing online conferences.

Project Scope

The Research Gate team (aka Tarek, co-founder), approached us with their idea of building an online platform where users can register for online as well as offline conferences.

Our team was hired for Branding, UI/UX Design as well as development activities.

Goals

→ Design a professional looking logo
→ Build a thorough brand guide
→ Dedicated conference pages with online registration
→ Dynamic backend to update and add conferences
→ Payment gateway integration

Challenges

→ To be achieved on WordPress CMS
→ Dynamic pricing based on user preference
→ Google tools and marketing tracker setup
→ Complex backend functionality for conference pages

Outcomes

The results were very professional. We went ahead with a complete raster approach to build an emotional bond between vendors and customers.

The choice of color was black and bright blue which was giving the brand a professional look. Starting from the logo to the website design, the entire outcome was loved by the client.

Logo Design

This logo design activity was very quick as our thoughts on the logo were connected.

The final logo was in form of an open door with a symbol of an idea in form of an enlightened bulb hidden behind it.

We used the abbreviation ‘TRG’ to represent the brand name.

Collaterals

Apart from the logo, the client required us to design some of their physical collaterals. This included visiting cards and letterheads.

Guidelines

Finally, we jump to creating a brand guide that can be used by the client & other third-party vendors to maintain brand authenticity.

UI Design

Once the UX design was locked by the client, we went ahead with the UI Design.

We were supposed to design high-fidelity wireframes for The Research Gate site consisting of 20 pages.As always, we went ahead with the mobile-first approach.

The goal was to make sure starting from the menu to the products, the user must enjoy using it.

Our designers also added some very good-looking banners that caught the eyes of the users and made the user explore the site more.

The overall design came out really well and it was loved by the client too.

Finally, we went ahead with the development of WordPress CMS. This was a troublesome activity that our team completed in 2 weeks.
